Ladies’ Meetings

The women of the church have the opportunity to meet on a regular basis for fellowship, Bible study and prayer together.

Weekly Ladies’ Meeting

We meet every Thursday morning during term time at 10:30am (arrive any time after 10:00am for a cuppa and chat first!) Some weeks we have a speaker come and give a talk from the Bible, following a theme for each term, and then we finish by having a light lunch together. Other weeks we have a Bible study and discussion, followed by a time of prayer together. While visitors are welcome to come to any of our meetings, once every half term we have a special coffee morning where we aim to invite friends and family who don’t usually come, to hear a short message from the Bible. A crèche is provided at all our meetings for the mums who bring their pre-school children along. Why not join us? You’d be made very welcome!

Monthly Ladies’ Breakfast

In addition to our weekly morning meeting, we also hold a ladies’ breakfast on the 1st Saturday morning of the month in the church hall, from 9 am to 10 am. We share breakfast and have a time of Bible study and prayer together.

Christmas Meal

Every year the ladies are encouraged to invite their friends and family members to a Ladies Christmas Meal one Tuesday evening in December. We usually have 70-80 ladies attend the meal, which is followed by a Christmas message from the Bible by a guest speaker.
